Saguaro National Park, Sonora Desert Museum

Of course the wind started to blow last night and we woke up with sand in the tent again. We managed to cook breakfast but it was challenging.

We drove through Saguaro National Park West and walked a nature trail by the Visitors Center.

We spent the rest of the walking through the many habitats of the Sonora Desert Museum. We first learned of this museum from watching The Desert Speaks on Public Television. We saw as much of the flora and fauna as we could including the dramatic raptor feeding demonstration. When we left the museum a large coyote was strolling through the parking lot.

Back at our campsite the wind was still blowing hard so we headed off to Tucson again to go grocery shopping and eat dinner at another tacqueria.
