This morning we visited the Nashville Parthenon. It’s pretty amazing to see a complete Parthenon replica after having visited the Acropolis in Athens. The Athena statue is enormous and colorful as the original would have been.
We took a detour today to drive through Abingdon, Virginia where my grandmother was born. It seems to be a fairly large and prosperous town.
We stopped for the night at the Best Western Plus in Roanoke Virginia. Downtown Roanoke is cute and of course we found a taqueria for dinner.
