We are tired of the Interstate and reluctant to leave the wilderness behind us. To make the transition easier, we spent our last day driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive through Shenandoah National Park.
We enjoyed a sunset picnic dinner in Shenandoah with views to the West.
When we got home and unloaded the car, you can see that we took a lot of stuff due to the length of the trip, the multiple climates we encountered, and our desire to camp and cook out when we could.
