Tecopa Hot Springs

Today we drove back to the pavement, then stopped at the Furnace Creek Visitor’s Center before driving South past Badwater and exiting the park over Jubilee Pass.

We rented a cabin at Delight’s Hot Springs Resort and really enjoyed soaking in the hot pools. A less expensive option would be to stay in the Inyo County campground and either use their group baths or buy passes to Delight’s pools. We also saw cars parked at night just north of the Hot Springs settlement and later found out that people “hot pot” in the undeveloped springs there.  That’s definitely something we want to try on our next trip.

There are no restaurants or stores in Tecopa Hot Springs so you must bring your own food or return to Shoshone to eat. Although our cabin had a kitchen and we had plenty of food, we always enjoy eating at the Crowbar Cafe & Saloon.
