Started today at St. Louis Gateway Arch with an exciting ride up in a tram pod and great views from the top.
On past Atchison Kansas to my cousin’s beautiful Serenity Hill Farm Alpacas. After meeting her aplacas, llamas, chickens, guineas, and dogs, we enjoyed a Mexican dinner (of course). Standing among the alpacas is remarkably peaceful. Bought some of her stunning alpaca yarn. A severe Kansas style thunderstorm during the night terrorized the poor dogs.
Saw our first rural Dollar Store today. It was large and full of non-perishable “food” which the clientele looked like they had been eating. There were no other shops around; it seems rural America has a lot in common with inner cities.
