Pine Creek Gorge looking south from Otter View

The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania

Today we hiked down the Turkey Path Trail to the Pine Creek Trail at the bottom of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. We passed a nice waterfall on the way down.
The Pine Creek Trail is the nicest, best maintained rail trail I have seen with a very smooth hard pack fine gravel surface. We saw many cyclists including lots of families with small children. We ate lunch on a trailside bench by Pine Creek and hiked back to the Turkey Path trail to climb out. At the top we visited all of the overlooks including the Otter View.

Our original campsite was not available for a second night so we moved to the tent camping side of the loop.
